The most classic vodka cocktail: the Moscow mule! This classic cocktail was born in the 1940’s: made with vodka, ginger beer, and lime and always served up in a copper mug. Why the mug? The coolness of the glass when you sip makes it taste ice cold.
2 ounces vodka
1/2 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
3 ounces ginger beer, chilled
Garnish: lime wheel
Fill a Moscow Mule mug (or highball glass) with ice, then add the vodka and lime juice.
Top with the ginger beer.
Garnish with a lime wheel.
Base Spirit: Vodka
